ICAR AIEEA PG 2020 -
ICAR's All India Entrance Exam for Admissions t(AIEEA) Post Graduate degree programs in Agriculture is online exam conducted every year by ICAR in association with NTA (National Testing Agency). This exam fill up the 25% seats for various accredited agriculture masters degree programs in accredited colleges of accredited Agriculture University in all states of India. (Remaining 75% seats are fill up by state entrance exams or other means specified by state or Agriculture University.
ICAR AIEEA PG 2020 enable agriculture graduates to seek admission in Master
degree programmes in Agriculture Universities in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal
Sciences, Agri. Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other
allied sciences.
Important Note -
AIEEA PG 2020 exam is conducted for admissions to only those Agriculture colleges and Universities which are accredited by ICAR. Also, only the Students getting graduated from ICAR Accredited colleges and universities are eligible to take admission to masters through AIEEA PG 2020.
PG Scholarships -
There are two different types of scholarships available for students pursuing PG through AIEEA PG 2020 namely, ICAR (PG) scholarship and PG Scholarship. ICAR (PG) Scholarship, shall be
awarded to 600 candidates based on merit in this examination as per their overall merit-rank and seat
availability in different disciplines. The remaining admitted students will be awarded NTS (PGS).

Examination Fees -
The online examination fees to be paid for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2020 is as follows -
1. For General Category and OBC - Rs. 1100/-
2. For ST/SC/PwD/Transgender - Rs. 550/-
Eligibility and Qualifications -
In order to be eligible for the AIEEA PG 2020 examination and taking admissions to PG courses one should meet following eligibility criteria and minimum educational qualifications -
1. The Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination securing Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of
at least 6.60/10.00 in ten-point scale,
3.25/5.00 in five-point scale,
2.60/4.00 in four-point scale (or minimum 60% for for General, OBC and UPS categories whereas
for SC/ST/Person with Disability
(PwD) candidates, the said requirement is an OGPA of at least 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.40,
respectively
2. The candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ duration will not be considered for admission through ICAR AIEEA (PG) 2020 in Agriculture Universities under
Schedule and Scheme of Examination
1. Mode of Examination - Online , Computer Based Test
2. Duration - 120 Minutes
3. Total Questions - 120
4. Question Types - Multiple Choice Questions (4 options)
5. Total Marks - 480 (4 marks per each correct answer)
6. Medium of test - English only
7. Negative Marking. - Yes, -1 for each incorrect response, 0 for no attempt.

- Display of Response sheet - To be communicated

3. Students graduating only from government colleges and ICAR accredited private institutes / Universities can take admissions to Masters through ICAR's AIEEA PG 2020
